For High School Students.

Confirmation Preparation at St. Clare's is less about catechesis than inspiration and commitment.  We meet for four 4-week quarters:  Tradition, Word, Social Justice and Eucharist.  Each quarter begins with an event and is followed by small and large group discussion and process.  We explore the reality of the Catholic Church with new eyes--adult eyes.  Our program starts in the Fall with an information/orientation night.  The first quarter doesn't even start until into November so that students can get their feet on the ground in school before we crank up.  We take all the local high school calendars and build our 16 evenings around them...making it as schedule easy as possible.  We meet Sunday evening from 7 to 8:30.  We always looking for inspiring teachers--high school age (confirmed) and adult.

Good Parents Cafe is a weekly gathering for parents.

It's easy, comfortable and relaxed. No prerequisites.  No cost.  No dress codes.  The focus is on adolescence.

There's coffee and tea...maybe some cider or hot chocolate. Bring snacks if you want.  (I like brownies)

There's usually a short presentation followed by questions and discussion.
